Sights to See
Mill City Museum, Mill Ruins Park, Stone Arch Bridge, Guthrie Theater – These will offer you crazy awesome views of the Mississippi River as it flows through downtown.
Drive the Chain of Lakes or another section of the Grand Rounds National Scenic Byway.
Head on over to Saint Paul and drive the length of Summit Avenue from west to east. It’s the country’s longest stretch of Victorian mansions, culminating in the Cathedral of Saint Paul and the Minnesota State Capitol.
Visit the Walker Art Center ($10) and/or the adjacent Minneapolis Sculpture Garden (free). Just south of downtown Minneapolis, across the street from Loring Park. The Irene Hixon Whitney bridge takes you between Loring Park and the Walker without you having to Frogger across Hennepin/Lyndale Aves.

Weather
Weather in the Twin Cities at the end of March varies wildly. Chances are we may not be getting any new snow then, but there will probably still be snow on the ground. You have until then to talk to the deity of your choice about that, for all of our sakes. According to this funky graph, the average temperature on March 27 is about 35 °F, however weather.com is saying more like mid- to upper-40s.
